Filling the Calzone

Now to stuff the Calzone full of tasty fillings.
You will need:
  • Sliced prosciutto, pepperoni, pancetta, and milanese salami
  • Buffalo mozarella
  • Fresh basil
  • Sauce from earlier

Preparation method:

  1. Cover half the circle of dough with the sauce.
  2. Layer with the mozzarella, sliced meats and a few basil leaves.
  3. Moisten the edge of the dough with water, before folding over and sticking the edges closed.
  4. Put on a pre-heated baking tray in an 230 C oven, for eight minutes of until the dough is browned and the filling cooked.
